Sitting, late afternoon under a covered porch, listening, and watching a light, consistent, rain come down. The few remaining colors of the garden plants always shine a little more while it’s raining. My neighbor turned 50 and there’s 50 pink flamingos on their front yard that match the color of my roses. Little things put me at ease & make me smile.

If you haven’t in a while, gentle reminder to take a little you time.

On to the real purpose of my writing… have you ever heard of glia? They’re found in the gut. The are mostly supportive cells and not electrically charged. They more or less are responsible for overseeing productivity. They’re management.

Until recently, it was thought that the glia didn’t have a very active role in the gut, but the research (I’ll share below) is now showing that glia potentially has a significant role in the digestive process. The pharma companies are looking into the possibilities of what studying glia could do…

In the article, it indicates that “they” (science) have no idea why people get IBS. That there’s no cause known… the eastern medicine lover in me doesn’t agree with a statement like that. I believe IBS and many other gut related ailments are caused by an imbalance in the body. Hence why I want to help bridge this gap between Eastern & Western medicine.

If our bodies are not balanced or in harmony… our body shuts down, gets sick, stops doing as it should.

Now this isn’t a huge double blind placebo randomized study, but a friend of mine has IBS. For over 10 years she has had to drink Miralax every night in order to try to keep regular. Polyethylene Glycol is the active ingredient in Miralax… Polyethylene glycol is a polyether compound derived from petroleum with many applications, from industrial manufacturing to medicine.

My friend began drinking Rawesomely Starts and within 3 months- no more Miralax!! The video is on Rawesomely’s Facebook page and Instagram. Will this work for every person with IBS?? I can’t make that claim, but I’d much rather drink an all natural organic greens mix with enzymes in it to see if it helps balance my digestive system. You??

Getting back to the glia… it is of high interest to me as well. We’re all connected and whether we’re talking management ( glia ) or the electrically charged neurons that send signals all over our bodies…, we need to make sure they’re working in conjunction. We are all connected.

Here’s the glia study!!
And a link for the video of my friend with IBS.
Have a fantastic week and I’m happy to answer Rawesomely related questions anytime!!
